About Our Community
Capitol Hill Community has been the voice of residents for over two decades. We work tirelessly to ensure that development and policy decisions reflect the needs and values of our diverse neighborhood.

Current Community Issues
We actively monitor and engage with city planning processes that affect our neighborhood. Here are some of the key issues we're currently addressing:
- Proposed Shelter Location: Concerns about the proposed homeless shelter location and its impact on neighborhood safety, traffic, and existing services.
- Zoning Changes: Reviewing proposed upzoning that could dramatically alter neighborhood density and character.
- Transportation: Advocating for better public transit connections and pedestrian safety improvements.
- Small Business Support: Ensuring local businesses can thrive amid changing regulations and economic pressures.
