Current Community Issues
We actively monitor and engage with city planning processes that affect our neighborhood. Here are some of the key issues we're currently addressing:
- Proposed Shelter Location: Concerns about the proposed homeless shelter location and its impact on neighborhood safety, traffic, and existing services.
- Zoning Changes: Reviewing proposed upzoning that could dramatically alter neighborhood density and character.
- Transportation: Advocating for better public transit connections and pedestrian safety improvements.
- Small Business Support: Ensuring local businesses can thrive amid changing regulations and economic pressures.
